A: Internic (Network Solutions) Is the federally appointed agency that keeps track of all the domain names. (www.yourname.com for example). If you registered your domain name yourself you would owe Network Solutions $70.00 for the first two years use of the domain name. ($35 per year thereafter) In addition they charge a parking fee of $49.00 to hold your domain for you. That fee is waived if you have Compass register your domain for you. We only charge a $5.00 processing fee. In addition the registry we currently use only charges $15 a year and we pass that savings directly to you.
